Born in 1955. 

Graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations in 1978 and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in 1991. 

Joined the diplomatic service in 1978. Took various diplomatic positions in the central office and abroad. 

2007-2013 – Counselor, Senior Counselor of the Embassy of Russia to Italy. 

2013-2015 – Chief Counselor of the Fourth European Department, MFA of Russia. 

2015-2020 – Consul General in Genova (the Italian Republic). 

Designated as the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of the Philippines by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 577 of September 21, 2020. 

Diplomatic rank – Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, II Class. 

Fluent in English and Italian. 

Married, with two adult sons.
